Church League Baseball Registration
Thank you for your interest in registering your child for participation in one of our church league baseball teams! GABC is happy to participate in baseball as a way to fellowship with and reach out to our community. This is a recreational league and, although we want our teams to be competitive, we put faith and family first. Coaches are hand-selected, and if you are interested in coaching for us, please contact us so we can set up an appointment to visit with you further. Email .

Frequently Asked Questions:
Is there a "gate fee" to attend games?
No, Fort Smith Church League does not charge gate fees. Costs of operating the league are covered through player registration fees and other fees.
When does the season start and end?
Typically, the season begins in mid-April and continues through the end of June.
When do teams practice?
Practice times and schedules are controlled by the head coach of each team as well as some scheduled field times set by the League. NOTE: Grand Avenue Baptist teams will not play or practice on Sunday mornings or Wednesday nights, so that our children and volunteers can participate in church activities on those days.
Where are the games played?
All games will be played at the Church League complex in Fort Smith. However, teams in the Prep or Babe Ruth leagues may have some games at other locations to fill open schedules.
What equipment is needed?
Equipment each player needs includes a baseball glove, helmet, gray pants (shorts are optional for tee-ball kids), orange belt and orange socks. The jersey and hat ordering info is on the registration form.
When are most games played?
Possible game nights are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, with teams usually playing one to three games per week, depending on scheduling. Some Saturday "make up" games are possible and dates will be set by the league as needed.
