Training a Generation to make Disciples who Worship, Grow and Go

At Grand we make disciples who Worship, Grow and Go.  And, at GSM our goal is no different!  We believe that every student should have a place to call their own, so at GSM we insure that every student that walks through our doors feels welcome, wanted and loved regardless of ethnicity, income or the school they attend.  Check us out below to learn a little more about GSM!

Postponed Until Further Notice!

Grab a friend and come see us!

Each week we gather on Wednesday Night for Worship led by the best Student Ministry band in the River Valley, Prayer and Bible Teaching.  Doors open at 6 and gives students the opportunity to hang out, play some games and grab a bite to eat.  Our service starts at 6.45 and we focus every week on leading students to be disciples who Worship, Grow and Go.  Our secret sauce is the Adult Volunteers who arrive every week striving to make Students feel welcomed, wanted and loved.  Your student does not need to miss this weekly gathering!

Postponed Until Further Notice!

Sunday Mornings at 9:15am our students spend time with their peers and a team of adult leaders learning to live in community, study the Bible, Pray and make God's name known here in the Fort and to the Nations. The following is a brief look at our small-groups.

Our goal at GSM is to maximize our small-group time in the equipping of our students to know what they believe about God, why they believe it and how to apply it. All while learning to live in community with believers who are striving to help each other become more like Christ, share each others needs and make God’s glory known in Fort Smith and the Nations.

2020 Winter/spring  CALENDAR!

Here is some important information from the Directors of Super Super Arkansas....

"After much prayer and deliberation, we need to share important information with you regarding Super Summer. Based on low registration numbers, significant numbers of church cancellations, and concern for well-being of the students, Dr. Sonny Tucker and the Executive Team of the Arkansas Baptist State Convention and I, as Super Summer Director, in consultation with Dr. Sells and Ouachita Baptist University, have reached the difficult decision to cancel Super Summer Arkansas for 2020.
Our concerns are: 1) gathering that quantity of students and adults in such close proximity,  2) the low registration numbers and now rising cancellations, 3) ability to recruit staffers who are not currently on college campuses, 4) the cancellation of camps and events at other university settings, and 5) budgetary pressure on churches who are already having to make significant financial decisions.  As you know, the programming and logistics of Super Summer creates a specific timeline that does not allow us to push the decision much further.
One last note, Ephesians 5:16 tells us to make the most of the time.  Some of us may have quite a bit of time right now with so many calendar cancellations.  Let’s use this time to enjoy our personal relationship with Jesus and encourage others in how to do that.  Let’s use this time to enjoy our families and encourage others to lead their families well.  Let’s use this time to appreciate our local church and encourage others to embrace the importance of staying on mission.  Super Summer has always been a means of encouraging us to do these things.  In its absence, let’s make the most of this time."
Thank you for your grace and understanding,
Warren Gasaway and Seth Tucker
