At Grand Avenue Baptist Church, we believe God never retires His people from His mission. Our (60+) Adult Ministry is a community of men and women who are passionate about continuing to grow in Christ, build meaningful friendships, and make an eternal impact.

Whether through Bible studies, fellowships, day trips, luncheons, conferences, service projects, or missions opportunities, there is always a place to connect. Our (60+) adults are an invaluable part of our church family, serving as encouragers, prayer warriors, mentors, and faithful examples for the generations following behind them.

Our Sunday Night Bible Study is designed specifically for adults ages 60 and above who desire to continue growing in God's Word while building meaningful friendships with others in the same season of life.

Each week, you'll experience practical, Bible-centered teaching, engaging discussion, prayer, and genuine fellowship in a welcoming environment. Whether you've studied Scripture for decades or are just beginning to dive deeper, you'll find encouragement, wisdom, and a community that cares.

This class is more than a Bible study—it's a place to laugh together, pray for one another, encourage each other through life's joys and challenges, and continue becoming faithful disciples of Jesus Christ.

Come grow in God's Word, connect with others, and be reminded that God still has a purpose for every season of life.

What to Expect: Bible teaching, discussion, prayer, and fellowship

Each month, our (60+) Adults enjoy a day of fellowship as we travel together to a local or regional restaurant for lunch. Typically held on the third Thursday of each month, these outings are a wonderful opportunity to relax, enjoy great food, build lasting friendships, and experience new places together.

Whether we're discovering a hidden hometown favorite or taking a scenic drive to a nearby community, every trip is about more than the destination—it's about spending time together, encouraging one another, and strengthening the relationships that make Grand Avenue feel like family.

Everyone is welcome, and there's always room for one more at the table.

Throughout the year, our (60+) Adult Ministry offers a variety of special events designed to encourage fellowship, strengthen faith, and create lasting memories. From inspiring Christian concerts and conferences to overnight trips, seasonal celebrations, and day excursions, there's always something to look forward to.

Whether we're traveling together to hear an encouraging speaker, attending a concert, exploring a new destination, or simply enjoying a special event with friends, these experiences provide opportunities to grow closer to Christ while building meaningful relationships with one another.

Every event is planned with the goal of helping our senior adults stay connected, engaged, and encouraged as they continue living with purpose and investing in the lives of others.
