Mission Moment

Every year on the Sunday closest to Columbus Day, we celebrate Columbus, Ohio Day. On this Sunday we take up an offering to go towards church planting in this great city.

For over 8 years now, our church has been the Lead Partner Church for the Send Initiative in Columbus, Ohio, for the North American Mission Board. NAMB has determined that Columbus is one of 32 North American cities that has the greatest need for church planting. 9 out of 10 people in Columbus have no affiliation with an Evangelical church. Columbus is currently growing by over 100,000 in population every year and is considered one of the most ethnically diverse cities in the US.

The need is great, and so we are asking if you would consider giving to this offering where 100% of everything raised will go towards church planting in Columbus. You are welcome to use our special offering envelope which will be provided this Sunday, or you can give online.

Sender’s University
Sender's U is a workshop put on by All Nations International, a mission sending agency in Kansas City. They will be hosting this workshop at our church in Room 120 Friday, October 22 6pm-9pm and Saturday, October 23 8:30am-2pm. The cost for the training will be $20. We will provide dinner on Friday and breakfast and lunch on Saturday.
