This coming Sunday, June 28th, I will be preaching a special message entitled: "What Fort Smith, Arkansas, and America Need from You and the Church." This means we will set aside one Sunday from our 13-week Nehemiah series to do this, as America celebrates our 250th Anniversary on July 4, marking 250 years since the Declaration of Independence was adopted in 1776. Do not miss Sunday morning's worship service at 10:30A.M. Bring someone with you.

Following our morning worship service, we will experience our Grand Family Reunion. We will gather right behind our Worship Center in the park to enjoy fellowship and food together. We will have hamburgers and hot dogs, homemade desserts from some of our incredible senior adults, and TENTS for added shade. Fiesta Flavors Dessert Truck, Frosty's Snow Cones and some water inflatables for the kids will add to the fun - Join us for a wonderful day together! Come and eat lunch and spend an hour or so with your church family. Bring guests with you to worship and for a quick lunch.

As we are walking through this summer, please pray for your church daily, and I want to thank all of you for honoring our Lord by giving to our church generously and regularly. Last week was Children's Camp; this week is Student Camp; this Sunday is Grand Family Reunion; Vacation Bible School is July 12th-14th; plus, we have two missionary families who will soon relocate to two of our mission homes for a season of rest before returning to their mission fields. Why do I mention all these things? Each of these are made possible by your consistent and generous gifts to our Ministry Budget. Whether you are here or away on vacation, thank you for your consistency. You are making a difference.

Great days are ahead for Grand Avenue Baptist Church. In God's timing, we will welcome a new Senior Pastor and his family to our church. Until then, we pray for our Pastor Search Committee, we trust God alone, and we work together to reach Metro Fort Smith, Arkansas, America, and the World for Jesus Christ.
