1000 Thank Yous to each of you who will be leading and serving in our 2026 Vacation Bible School. You are going to make a major difference in the lives of children and families. Church, let's pray for children to come into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Please pray for me as I will be here on Monday night for VBS to share the Good News of Jesus Christ with these children and to call them to follow Jesus in their lives. Lifeway Research reveals that nearly 3 million children and adults will attend a Vacation Bible School this year, and almost 70,000 will make a personal decision to follow Jesus Christ. VBS accounts for almost 25% of baptisms in Southern Baptist churches. So, let's pray for this pivotal experience happening on the evenings of Sunday through Tuesday.

Thank you, Grand Church, for demonstrating your commitment to biblical stewardship during this 16-Week Summer Financial Goal. Through the first seven weeks of this period, we have received $417,891, while the need to fully fund these weeks was $393,750. Thank you for honoring God with the first tenth of all God has entrusted to you, whether you are present or absent. What a dynamic testimony this is. Let's continue to fully fund all sixteen weeks this summer.

Your Pastor Search Committee is diligently seeking the next man to serve as your Senior Pastor. We thank you for praying for all of us, and we are confident the Lord is now calling a man to our church. Prayerfully, we will soon discern who God is calling here. Pray now for each of these members: Keith Hayes, Brad Lewis, Emily Williams, Randy Morehart, Joyce Haver, Bill Molder, and Michael Atchley, as well as our two alternates who always meet with them: Kim Dickens and Dr. Jody Bradshaw.

We are nearing the completion of our vision of Reaching 1000 Homes for Jesus Christ in June and July. There is a very good chance that by this Sunday, we may even finish this task. Thank you to everyone who has given time to this great project.

This coming Sunday, the subject is IN YOU, THROUGH YOU: FINISH THE TASK. Please pray for Sunday morning and invite others to worship at 10:30 AM. The Lord is at work in the Grand Avenue Baptist Church. Give God thanks!
