Mission Moment

Our For The City Week is an all-out blitz of service projects and local mission opportunities in Fort Smith and the River Valley. Our goal is to mobilize as many of our people out in the community as we can. Go to www.gabc.church/missions to get signed up for a project.

Hiding Place Hollow:

We will be heading up to Hiding Place Hollow for a work day on Saturday, December 3. We will leave from the church parking lot at 7am and arrive back at around 4pm. We will be doing some chainsaw work and general cleaning up limbs and debris along their creek. You will need to bring gloves and eye protection, and boots are recommended. Your lunch and drinks will be provided. Email Scott Ward (scott@gabc.church) to let him know if you can go.

Ice Skating Rink:

We are needing volunteers to help us run the Fort Smith ice skating rink. It will be very simple to do. One volunteer will take money and get waiver forms signed, and the other volunteers will pass out skates and sharpen skates. You are encouraged to sign up for as many spots as possible! This is a HUGE fundraiser for Community Rescue Mission who is a faith-based, local shelter and transitional housing program for homeless families with children.
